Humes lead the way with CPAA Training

Topic(s):

At Humes, we’re proud to be an active member of the Concrete Pipe Association of Australasia (CPAA) and are committed to providing vital learning and training opportunities to promote excellence and quality in concrete infrastructure across New Zealand.

Over the past few months, we have conducted training sessions in Auckland, Christchurch and Whangarei for our customers to help get them up to speed on the NZ standards, CPAA guidelines and the new PIPECLASS 3 software.

Amanda Choi, Technical Sales Engineer at Humes led the training sessions and says the feedback from attendees has been really positive.

“We tailored the training material so it was relevant to the New Zealand market, ensuring there were plenty of visual aids, photos and videos to keep things interesting. We kept the sessions really practical and the smaller group sizes allowed us to use real examples from those in the room and answer questions one-on-one,” explains Amanda.

“We’re looking forward to seeing more participants at future events as we continue to build knowledge and strengthen our industry partnerships.”

Here’s what some of the participants had to say about the training…

 “Very useful presentation”

“I didn’t know how important the construction load is”

“I learned a lot about different types of rubber rings in the market”

“The crack gauge card will be useful”
